Ultimaker failed attempts to set it up part 2 these are a bit long, i know, but its for fellow new owners of the ultimaker, they can compare their setup and what to look for thats good and whats bad. i had no idea what was right or wrong, as regards the printing sequence,the machine setup. the flow of PLA, the speed of the extruder wheel, there are forums but its hard to put into words a full explanation of your issues, so here are my trials and tribulations so that someone new to this also can save themselves the time i wasted wondering whats right and wrong. github.com i use the above free software on win7 64bit machine, i D/L the version that includes everything. cura updates the firmware on your ultimaker to marlin, does a basic setup and machine check and gets you printing with some default settings. this at least gives you a solid foundation from which to start your fault diagnosis from.
